It's not simplly good or bad, depending on if you have some basic maintain knowledge or if you want to learn it. I have a 2001 Audi A6 for 3 years and the following is my experience:
Good: 1. Design in and out, never OUT OF DATE! 2. Suspension, excellent especially on highway that gave me one speedy ticket per year. 3. Space, especially rear seat. 4. 2nd hand Audi usually have steal price.
Bad: 1. Be careful oil leakage (a design bug but fixable). 2. You may feel the engine not strong enough at low speed but very agile at high speed.
To be an Audi owner, you must be 100% STRICT at maintainence at the suggested milage or you'll pay huge. So, Audi is like a beautiful lady need love not like Toyota (as a household woman). As long as you take care of it, it will give you superior enjoyment.
Regular maintain: timing belt @ 75k miles; coolant @ 20k miles, ATF @ 60k miles, steering fluid @ 30k miles, brake fluid @ 2 years, CV boot, engine oil.
