I have a jetta TDI..

it is not a suv. I think engine is an engine. It can go on different cars. Torque of a diesel car is usually higher than a gas car with the same size engine. in lower RPM, you get more torque/accelaration. With a proper maintenance, diesel engine lasts forever. The proper maintenance includes change fuel filter, motor oil and transmission oil in a regular basis. The cost of motor oil is more expensive than a gas car. The diesel car manufactured after 2007 needs to fuel with (Ultra low sulfur diesel) ULSD. Otherwise, you might have damage your emission system of the engine. In general, I love my TDI. It is fun to drive.
