Will CEL code reset itself when the problem is fixed?

非常謝謝各位的意見和建議。現在想搞清楚一個問題：我的車CEL code 是 transmission，如果最終確實是transmission問題，那麽transmission修好之後,check engine light是不是就自動off了。
