求救：車出售後三天壞了，別人找 怎麽辦

1994mercury sable,wagon, LS, 14000 mile, 外觀好，新輪胎，muffle. 我自己開很好，一直用於上下班。售給一個剛拿到執照的teenage，$800。三天後，對方的父親打電話來，說transmission壞了，溶液漏了一地。要我把錢還給他，或者其他的條件。這種情況我還有責任嗎？我該怎麽辦？謝謝解答
