SUV/Trucks are more prone to rollover because it has
higher center of gravity than cars.
So don't drive SUV/trucks the same way as you drive cars,
this is mentioned by every SUV/Truck manufactureres.
As for the suspension, I believe toyota chose to use softer
suspension because it targes mainstream customers, not aggressive
drivers. And most customers, including me, prefer soft suspension
because it is quite and comfortable. Sure it may not manuver well
in extreme situaitons. But if the situation is extreme, those hard
suspension may not work either.
THere is always compromise in car manufacturing. Some chose
to be more performance oriented, such as Honda. Some chose to be
more comfort oriented, such as toyota. I like this diversity so
people can choose what best suits them.
