Yes, you can get that MPG.

Mine 2005 EX-L has a 27.5 mpg on high way when I took a long distance driving recently at an average speed of 75 mph. If you don't exceed 65 mgh, the mileage will be even higher. I even got a 29 mpg when the car was new, and I drove on a regional high way at a relatively low speed. The average mpg with routine highway and local mix for me is 22 mpg.
