if you have AAA, call them. if not, go get a jumping cable

just ask any one near by, to jump your car. this is something you must learn.

1. connect the cable to both car's battery, + to +, - to - , be careful not to let the + and - touching each other.
2. have the other car's driver to start up engine and press a little bit gas.
3. you start your car.
4. done, do not stop your engine, go directly to high way. if you see "battery warning signal" on your dash board, be very careful, that means your alternator is bad. If you actually see "battery signal", drive to most right lane so you can prepare for worst situation - car completely stopped.
