let say if your payment due date falls on the 10th, then you shouldn't worry about May's payment. However, if the monthly due falls on 27, or 28 or 29th...(of this month /April) I would be extremely careful... I'm not sure what kind of confirmation the dealer can provide to you... somehow, I don't trust dealers too much and I don't know how promptly they can issue the check to payoff your loan. If I were you (if you don't mind the hassle), I would keep calling the dealer and Capitalone until the loan hit zero balance.
