i doubt any dealer in their right mind will let you do that. in big city, they won't let you drive more than 1 mile.

250 miles is a little extreme. my guess is salesman drives it back to home sometimes, or it is the 'test' car for many customers who end up buying other car.

it is still a new car, but if i were OP, i would bargain hard for discount.

how much discount? check out edmund for regular price, then make up mind by himself.
