I have a 2007 BMW 5 series, two weeks ago there was a big storm here, when I opened the driver door, a big wind just banged the door fiercely, and I noticed something broken inside the door and the window can get stuck on halfway.
two days ago I went to the BMW dealer and left the car to the service center there, they called me yesterday that they have to bring it to the collision center to fix it. But today they call me that they can't fix it, and have to order the new door and replace it. It really confuse me that is the door of BMW that complicated, or they just want to get more money from BMW?
I think the dealer have a good reputation locally
The door can't be fixed
