I got a check-engine light on 96 Audi A6. It is Engine coolant temperature sensor error code. I measure the voltage of the sensor. It is 3.6V when engine is cold (~20C) and drop to 1.45V when the engine is hot(radiator fan starts running). Can I say the sensor is bad? What is the right voltage at cold and hot? Thanks in advance. _(&)
