you should ask to replace the engine

the damage, as you said the spark plug dropped in the cylinder, would be critical for your engine. the rod might bends, piston has a crack or hole hit by the wrecks, cylinder head and cylinder wall damage, valves bend, etc. this incident definitely is the poor quality issue and the power-train warranty should cover the damage by its car-maker.
