X5's initial quality is superb. I enjoyed 4-year worry-free driving, things turned sour around the 5th year.

But I still get another BMW after all the troubles I have experienced in last three years, that's tell you why.

I think a BMW 328 or 335 Xdrive is a nice upgrade to your current Accord: it has much better handling than SUV; it's a 4-wheel drive; it's entry-level lurury car to keep you low-key; it makes you young; and most important, it will fit into your garage!

BTW, I did test drive MB C350 and didn't like it. I heard Audi is pretty good, you can try A4 or A6.
