your problem is not small SUV, large SUV, or sedan. you just suspect that you can't handle a large SUV, especially in the parking lot. so,

order rear view camera, or rear and front radar, and other safety equipment with your next vehicle.

you will be fine with whatever the car you buy after driving a little while. you will feel much better with aforementioned device in a tight space.
