I bought a 2008 CRV and my friend got a Subaru Forester. I think Subaru is better although the gas mileage is a little bit less. CRV is noisy on the highway. Other than that, they are both good. Google CRV and Forester problems then you will see what kind of throuble people have with those small SUVs
