大俠:風擋玻璃出現裂痕, 是否需要立即更換?

在雨刷附近出現一尺長的裂痕(外層)呈90度直角(一頭向下,一頭橫向),並且感覺會越來越長.請問修玻璃廠家建議更換,不知是否一定要更換?因為看到很多人有類似情況,但並沒有更換.請高人指點.多謝
