I would do the same thing at the dealer.

If I were you, I will have the timing belt changed based on the milage on the car (at about 90k miles) rather than the years owning the car. The OEM timing belt could run about >10k miles.

In terms of the cost of changing the timing belt, it runs $150 to $350 depending on the model, usually including the water pump. The same job on Toyota Camry 4 years ago was $300.
