To be fair, I think Japanese cars have their edges, I had 2 Honda, 1 89 Civic and 1 2001 Accord, I have been very satisfied with the engine. I drove the 89 civic to U.S. in 2000 once, and its muffler went off on the way back -- too rusted, but the engine ran like a 20 year-old young kid. The Civic is very agile, I feel like riding a bike , you turned your head around, you can see anything -- you can almost drive without mirror (kidding). Accord got hit 4 or 5 times, front and back -- just unlucky, none was my fault, but it never let me down on the road.
