Safty Per Dollar 安全的單價

我覺得討論車的安全與否，一個重要的指標是車的價格。

就像任何性能一樣，safty（安全）也是車的屬性之一。所以，比較安全性，要同檔次的車相比較。拿large SUV和compact car比，根本不make sense。

說美國車德國車安全，那要看什麽車了，vw beetle，或者neon，如果和Landcriuser撞上了，誰倒黴？是美德車，還是日本車？

我相信很多人腦子裏，美德車的印象，就是一大大寬寬的老車，第一印象就是安全。實際上不是這樣。美德車也是千變萬化的。

其實這裏應該把美車和德車分開，因為，價格-wise，日本車介於其中。

一個更合理的比較是，如果給了一定的budget，買一輛美車安全？還是買一輛日車，德車更安全？其實，從budget出發，更符合大多數人的買車過程。

我的結論是，safty per dollar，美車應該第一，日車第二，德車第三。

因為，美車最便宜，同樣的錢能買一個大車，日車其次，德車最貴。

那麽車的大小是否一定與安全成正比呢？well，不一定正比，但肯定正相關。正如自然界的動物打架，ultimately，動物的個頭決定結果的，特別是one on one的PK。
