told me a story.
he was told that oil level was low on his car. he wanted saving some bucks and bought a quart bottle of engine oil at auto part store and filled in his engine at the store parking lot. he pulled the dipstick out as the technician showed him when the car was serviced by that guy. the oil level seems no change. he got an other bottle and filled in, no change either. one of the part-man was watching his work and walked to him to suggest he should check oil leaking somewhere. he looked the ground underneath the car, no any oil spot there. both men believed at that time the engine need more oil because the original level is too low, they pured in 2 bottles again, the marker on the dipstick is no change. the part-man asked one of his colleagues ( a senior guy who used to be a mechanic ) to help this customer. the old man came and was laughing when he saw the dipstick holding in his young colleague's hand. "Hi, young man, that stick is for checking transmission fluid level. "
