a few years ago, a friend of mine against many chinese suggestions, purchased a chevy van for $18000 (if he had bought a sienna he would have had spent nearly $30000). he drove his van taking us to national parks, fishing etc and we didn't feel the van inferior. many years after, he still drives it, and i didn't hear anything wrong (normally i would be the first one getting touched for second opinion when many of my friends had car problems).
