Can you tell me why? I currently prefer mtr because its kevlar sidewall provides better protection than
km2. And I really wanted it because I screwed up my
stock tire on a trail last week, and it was on the sidewall.

I agree on this.There is no 16inch wheel with 9 inch width for 5x5 bolt pattern. Maybe what you mentioned above is the reason

I am currently decided on a affordable procomp steel wheel, 16x8 with 4.25 backspacing. How do you think about this choice.

the only thing worries me is because all 305/70R16 tire
recommend wheel width range at 8-9.5 inch. So it seems
my choise is at the low range edge, I know it will be good for offroad (poor man's beadlock) but will this cause much trouble on highway?
