Chinese visitor need to buy what insurance when rent car?

My cousins will come to visit US for 3 weeks. They will rent car. What kind insurance should they buy in car rental company?
Alamo has those on website:
Collision Damage Waiver Full ($14.99/Day)
Extended Protection ($12.95/Day)

Do they need to buy EP? Any other insurance should they buy?
