For used car purchase, the most important factors to consider:
(1) Maintenance records: Ask the seller 'do you have all receipts for the service on the car". Needless to day, who has the records, who gets points.
(2) Actually road test: not all the cars are the same, even though two might be in the same year/model.
(3) Have an friend who has extensive experience/knowledge to check it out. if non, use a mechanic to do the job.
(4) Make absolute sure engine and transmission have no gremlins...
