it might indicate severe engine trouble or just the oil pressure sender failure. the easy way to check oil pressure is to open the oil filling cap to watch oil splashing under engine valve cover when engine is running. if there is no oil comes up, lub system has trouble. it might be the sender failure or the harness loosing. the sender is cheap but oil pump replacement is a big bill work.
