Ran a stop sign--no big deal. Don't worry about it much.

Ran a stop sign should not increase your point. It is only a $20-$40 fine, most likely. It is not worth your time and hassel to go to a court. It you want to be sure, call your insuance to find out. Do it like this:
Hi there, I have a question. Suppose I ran a stop sign and got a ticket for it. I am not saying that I did, I am just asking this hypothetic quetion ( they don't really care anyway), will that raise my point?... No, are you sure? ok, Thanks a lot!

But right now, you have to wait for your ticket.
