Brother, If you don't need it, don't buy a new car..depreciates

You can rent him a car when your college kid comes home. That way you don't have to pay extra insureance, the car is always new. It does not take up space, you don't have to spend money to keep it.
Instead, if I were you, with all those money, I would try to use that money packing 2 milks and get myself a real good time :).
