Did you get chance to test drive both car? especially, the 09 Honda Ex-V6 which gets more HP, better interior, handling, and save 5-6 MPG.
FYI, Volvo only make I4-6 Engines.(V8 made by Ford-Yamaha) the V Engines save more space and MPG but generators more horsepower(98% cases)
anyway, S60 is a great car too but never gets Accord's reliability after first 5-6 years, plus the Volvo's OEM parts are very expensive=$$$$ while Honda's OEM =$1/2
