what I was trying to talk about is Toyota's quality. I have heard so many times about camry's EGR problems, the only friend who owns a 2001 Avalon (~70k mi) had EGR problem as well. It is not cheap to fix this problem.
I have known so many people who had problems with Corrola's starters. They had to replace the starts at ~80k mi.
I have seen so many times that quite new (2003 and after) Camry's on the road had burned-out rear lights. The owners might not even know their rear lights are burned out.
My point is Toyata uses cheap parts, like the O2 sensors, bulbs, etc.I think my Accord had much better quality than Camry.
You can not tell the difference between a toyota and lexus without driving one. Lexus gives you much more luxurious feeling, and its build quality is also higher: it uses seamless molding, while Toyata still uses normal molding.
