Thanks for your info… For a same BMW, it is sold 10% more expensive in Canada and 15% more expensive in Germany. This is what I am saying you already got the best value of performance/price. Performance rather than reliability is always the primary concern of BMW. This is what it calls itself - The Ultimate Driving Experience. This is the company that initialized the all-aluminum engines. It is pushing the boundary of using aluminum almost to everywhere including wheel axles and part of the hood structure. In this sense, a BMW is virtually not crash-repairable, but its unchallengeable performance. Europeans love manual transmissions. The top three MB/BMW/Audi are all good at manual transmissions.
