老公開車闖紅燈被街頭攝像頭拍照

我在西雅圖，老公開車闖紅燈被街頭攝像頭拍照，要罰124刀。可偏偏老公昨天剛登上回國的飛機。各位兄弟姐妹們遇到過類似情況是怎麽處理的。解釋有用嗎？還是乖乖的交罰金了事？會影響到明年的保險費嗎？
