transmission 的一個齒輪壞了

那個故障燈一但加速過頭就亮（上坡時最怕），車鋪人說transmission 的第三檔齒輪壞了，要換就得整個transmission都換掉，新的$4500， 舊的$3000。
現在連高速公路也不敢上，怕耽誤事。
問問懂車的朋友，是這樣麽？車鋪是不是蒙我啊，那個gear不能像那位高手換電磁閥
一樣分開換麽？
