I have a silver accord, 2000. The paint is still good except the scratches I made.

The peeling you saw was probably from a car which did body work. Bad body work does show its quality after a few years.

I have never seen a silver camry or accord or civic having paint peeling problwm.

But nowdays, silver color is not out of date. The new fashion color is mlky white.
