It doesn't. First of all, 4x4 doesn't give you extra grip. If you drive a 4x4 on a slippery road, the car will fish tail, if the speed is higher than the road condition allows. Second of all, a truck has a much lighter rear end than the front. This makes it easier to fish tail than other types of vehicle.
