It is not safe.

1. it is light
2. the base is high is safer??? Policemen like to chase SUVs on highway because as soon as they use the police car to hit their back wheels, they will flip over!
3. For safty and comfort, mini-vans are much better.

You can always buy it, because it is your money. But don't use safty as you excuse.
