Show me the number

Most of coal-fired power plant can be made cleaner, but most of them are not now. Some argue that they can bury CO2 underground, but they do not have a proof of concept.

Number one CO2 emitter of the nation is only 60 miles away from my home and number three CO2 emitter of the nation is only 30 miles away from my home, which is also the number one SO2 emitter until 2006. Both of them are coal-fired power plant. Our area has suffered from acid rain for decades. Electric car is not yet an answer in my area.
