try this

according to your description, it could either caused by fuel pump or a short in the circuit during hard acceleration. I will bet on fuel pump, because if it is the short, there is no way it only happens that way, a bump on the road can produce much bigger g-force than hard acceleration but no short. you can try this to make sure: find a place where the fuse were blown before, repeat the situation, but after stop, put car in park and apply full throttle, if it is possible, measure the current at the same time, if current jump over 17A, I would say the fuel pump is the cause. it could be a bad pump or a clogged fuel line.
