I assume this is an automatic transmission. It looks like this is a performance issue with the transmission. VW is good at manual transmissions. I am not sure how well they can make automatic transmissions. Anyway, when you go to VW dealership, make sure that they do not have the chance to ask the same question I have asked - "what is the problem"
