Tools are important for people to work on cars or other home projects. When doing DIY, you have already saved big on the labor. A quality tool can make your job easier and ensure you get job done and won't hurt yourself (how many times you got your hands cut or hit on another object due to tool loose when you used a sub par tool?).
One of the famed tools is Craftsman - solid, precise and with life time warranty - whenever it is worn or torn, just bring it back they will give you anew. Sears carries it. The price is moderate higher than those non-brands, but not terrible.
Some times you can find coupons for it. But even without coupons, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it for you.
My suggestions to you -
