About half of cars are in the system, it is not full Carfax report but you can spot a limo with it. For those too cheap to shell out 20 for carfax (I was in your shoes, so no offense), this could help when buying a used car in certain state.
BTW, car history is not as important as to get a good mechanic check (60-100) when it comes down to used cars.
