Engine is the heart of a car

while others like transmission, AC, starter, alterntor, brake, wheels, axles, so on and so on, are all most having a similar life span. When the poster asks about reliability, of course the biggest contribution is engine, it's reasonable to weigh on engine primarily.

If people like to switch cars in every few years, that is great, I think any car will do. If one wants to have a great car for many years (less headache and saving money), surely a car having better engine is the one to choose, no question to ask.

Since we are pool of people there will never be a bowl of soup meeting everyone's taste.
