近年來中國畫畫馬專家比較有名的有。。。。。。。。也都各具特點。

張樂毅，山東大學藝術學院教授、碩士研究生導師、中國美術家協會員、山東美術家協會理事。

許勇，魯迅美術學院國畫係教授、研究生導師。

張揚，馬業協會的首席畫馬專家，中國徐悲鴻畫院鞍馬藝術工作室主任

美籍畫馬專家範融,又名李成,係宋代文學家範仲淹的後裔。畫馬作品現被美國國會收藏。
