Among all these movies, Apocalypse Now is my favorite.
Martin Sheen gave me a very deep impression by his narrating and pondering about Kurt along the river.
His concentrated gaze, confident gesture and soft but deep voice are combined so well here.

The story is adapted from Joseph Conrad's novel: The heart of darkness. Conrad has a special vision of the savage statue of human nature, which is symbolized into a sailor named Kurt.He believes in the connection of civilized man and the most brutal and crude nature. Thus Kurt is just a mysterious symbol borrowed into the bloody scene of Vietnam war, not originated from it.
