前言： A lot of retirees lost their investments such as 401K etc. during this recession. I hope this 免費創業計劃 – Homestay Business, will help them a little bit for their financial situation. I first post it on 投資理財 when I read someone post retiring plan. I know one retired policeman who hosts several students. Also I know some international students. That is how I got this idea. I think it is better to post it on 創業天地。

缺錢和寂寞可以退休的一種方式

 

現在外國大小留學生很多， 找Homestay的供不應求。Like this one “$875 Host Families for International High School Students Needed” and this one “HOST FAMILIES NEEDED FOR INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS ($675-$800)”. You can host up to four students if you have an extra furnished bedroom(s) in your home. Here are some requirements:

1. Reside in or around school area.
2. Provide a clean, furnished, private bedroom w/a bed or a shared bedroom w/two beds. Bedroom has a place to study with a desk/chair & internet access.
3. Home is nearby public transportation, and traveling time to school is no more than an hour.
4. Provide 2 meals per day with self-served breakfast & dinners - 7 days a week.
5. Background check is available upon requested.

 

You can plan ahead if you 缺錢 or 寂寞 or both.

I know one retired policeman who hosts several students and also does volunteer work for police department.

He already signed contract with one host family through school. The school told him he cannot cancel the contract. After he stayed at host family for one week, he contacted me again. He does not like the host family and he wants to lose the one month rent. One Saudi Arabia student stayed at hotel for one month and still cannot find homestay, but this guy determined to find one and he asked me to help him through a friend.

It should be very simple for breakfast. For dinner, I do not know. For中國小留學生,

有關中國小留學生, 我想說幾句：

1.      我們和他們無親無故，我們可以幫助他們很多。

2.      他們有一些缺點，但誰又沒有呢。

3.      他們正在成長和學習過程中， 他們也在吸取經驗和教訓。

4.      我接處到兩位中國小留學生， 他們的進步都是很大的。

5.      一位中國小留學生因為第二次在屋裏抽煙被我趕出後，和他又有兩次見麵，感覺他進步很大。

6.      我和他無親無故，所以我每次都要說，要好好學習，天天向上。少抽煙，少喝可樂，最好戒掉。要刻苦，要努力。錢並不是萬能的，等等。

7.      後來的兩次見麵，他都沒有抽煙。而且他在準備考一所更好的學校。
