孫寧和王學兵因在電視劇《忘不了》中演情侶而結緣。今年4月7日，孫寧和王學兵趁著拍戲的空檔秘密去登記。領證時，兩人極其低調，甚至連王學兵的哥哥也是事後通過媒體才得知的。孫寧表示，舉行婚禮公布婚訊，是對親戚朋友的尊重，是對媒體的尊重，更是對婚姻本身的尊重，“畢竟我們不想再聽到人們老問‘你們到底結沒結’這類問題”。
