Liszt La Lugubre Gondola No. 1

One of Liszt's later and less technically demanding pieces. He composed La Lugubre Gondola No. 2 after the death of his son in law, Richerd Wagner (yes, the famous composer). This was part of Liszt's "Late Period" when he began focusing on death and funeral music. It was also a time where he explored harmony and tonality.
