《The girl from Ipanema》來自伊帕內瑪的女孩，巴西經典爵士樂

1963年，對巴西音樂有著濃厚興趣的著名冷爵士樂手Stan Getz邀請巴西著名作曲家”Bossa Nova之父”Antonio Carlos Jobim和”Bossa Nova皇帝”Joao Gilberto一起到美國錄製《Getz Gilberto》，為了讓這張專輯裏的音樂更容易被美國聽眾接受，需要在主打歌曲《the girl from ipanema》裏加入一些英文歌詞。然而Joao Gilberto不會英語，Stan Getz便提議讓Joao的妻子Astrud Gilberto來演唱其中的英文歌詞。於是在這偶然的機會下，Astrud Gilberto在這張舉世聞名的經典爵士唱片中亮出了她柔美而獨特的嗓音，若有若無的隱約美感，讓全世界都為之驚豔！

Astrud Gilberto成就了《the girl from ipanema》，而這位”伊帕內瑪姑娘”也成就了Astrud Gilberto的歌唱事業，使她從那個默默隱匿於”Bossa Nova皇帝”Joao Gilberto耀眼光芒後的小賢妻，一躍成為Bossa Nova樂界的女王。從老式的留聲機到現代的CD唱機，她那純美明亮的歌聲仍然在流淌，她也成為爵士樂迷心目中那個永遠青春不老的依帕內瑪姑娘。

Bossa Nova是融合巴西桑巴舞曲和美國西岸冷爵士的一種”新派爵士音樂”，它自50年代末期在巴西興起，成為50、60年代巴西新流行音樂的代名詞。

我對爵士樂的認識還是得益於我在巴黎結識的兩位朋友：Anne ，一位巴黎姑娘，男友是建築師，愛好吉它， 周末喜歡跟他的band吹拉彈唱，演奏爵士樂，每當Anne跟我說起她男友弄的那些爵士樂時，她總是那麽神采飛揚， 我那時對爵士樂沒什麽概念。一次Anne請我們去她家做客，一進他們家門，映入我眼簾的是牆上一幅巨大的舊上海電影廣告照，法國人就是喜歡這些舊的，稀奇的東西。Anne 父母經商醫藥，有兄弟姐妹五人，沒有一個子女願意接她父母的班，都是幹些與藝術沾邊的職業。Veronica， 來自巴西裏熱（Rio）女孩，在巴黎結識了她現在先生，當我們談起音樂時，Veronica 向我推薦Getz/Gilberto的cd，一定要我聽，她說Gilberto 是他們巴西人的驕傲。 《The girl from Ipanema》曲中輕聲細說，音樂若影若現，我立刻為之著迷。

Anne 後來去New York， Veronica回巴西，每當我重聽《The girl from ipanema》這支曲子時，不由地想念我這兩位好友。
