  前幾天《南方都市報》(11月上旬的報紙)講到,同樣的IBM電腦(菲律賓生產),中國賣2萬多人民幣,而美國的售價,按外匯比價,折合人民幣才1萬多,兩者人民幣價差為1萬元。

  這是一個令人尷尬的話題,因為,人均收入比中國高得多的美國,東西,反而比中國便宜很多。問題的根本在哪裏呢?我嚐試從生產、銷售、消費等環節,來理清一下思路:

  1、作為IBM生產廠家的聯想,該筆記本的成本是固定的(菲律賓生產),在美國賣,也是要獲取利潤的,那麽中國貴了1萬元,是否,可以理解為該廠家在這款筆記本上,獲取了暴利?那麽為什麽?聯想要在中國獲取暴利,而在美國,以非常優惠的價格出售呢?我們知道,暴利,通常意味著,壟斷或高度品牌化。這樣,就可以理解為實際上IBM在中國賣得很貴,是因為她的品牌知名度高,客戶接受意願強。

  再引申一下,那麽IBM為什麽?在中國的品牌知名度高呢?我所知道的就是IBM的技術和服務(別看國內有神舟電腦,用起來感覺還是不一樣的)。也就是說,IBM的技術代表了“先進生產力”,和“先進文化”,所以,自然而然就賣得貴了。

  2、產品,從菲律賓整機進入中國,據我所知,應該有關稅和增值稅。很可能中國得關稅和增值稅,遠遠高於美國(有心的人可以查證一下,說不定我們的消費稅,也高於美國),導致中國消費者,額外支付了關稅和增值稅成本。因此,一個政府的稅收,對民眾的福利影響有多大。從交稅越多,應享受的社會福利越多的角度,我國目前的製度,安排是有問題的,交多了稅,你,絲毫看不到,對自身有任何更大的好處。

  3、從勞動生產率,和勞動力成本來說,美國的勞動生產率,肯定比中國要高,這也是兩個國家的幣值,有差異(匯率)產生的根本原因,但是,這個筆記本電腦,是菲律賓生產的,與美國無關。勞動力成本,也是同樣的道理。

  4、從經銷商的角度,美國的經銷商,也要賺錢的。假設,他們要賺取的利潤,比例是相通的,那麽,他們的成本,與中國的經銷商成本,對比如何呢?對於這種流動企業來說,影響成本的主要因素,是地租和人工。美國的人工比中國貴,但是,對於超市型的銷售來說,這種人工分攤比例,幾乎可以忽略不計(邊際費用)。地租來說,中國賣 IBM筆記本的地方,都是寸土寸金,貴的不得了。美國,我不知道情況怎樣。換一個角度說,一個城市的高房價,不是什麽好事情,它,增加了居住成本、經營成本,間接地影響了民眾的福利。

  5、從美國消費者的角度來說,IBM電腦,頂多也就是國內,長虹彩電的感覺,算不上,什麽高科技產品,或時尚產品。這是IBM在美國,不可能賣貴的一個很重要的因素。也就是說,美國先進的科技和技術、可觀的國民財富,使得類似汽車,和筆記本電腦,這一類在中國是奢侈品的東西,成為了日常生活用品。

  6、是否?和美國的采購全球化有一點關係,我認為是有的。美國,通過全球的市場競爭,為自己的國家,獲取了最優惠的產品,並且,通過該國的法律,確保了產品的質量。這個,當然和美元,是國際間結算主要貨幣有關係,這個話題,就不展開了,要不幾天都說不完。
