When you said: 'Mid term grades are not counted into GPA in my daughter's school, only the end of semester grades get to be counted.' does it mean that the first quarter's (mid term) grades not accumulated towards semester grades? For the first quarter, my son got 3A, 2B, 1C and 1D which is only about GPA3.0, I wonder his second quarter grades have to be ALL As (therefore GPA4.0) for his semeter grades to be only 3.5, which I am very not sure because I don't think he will get all As because he is too disorganized and loses/handing in late assignments all the time. Sigh...
