A huge cherry tree grew outside, so close that its boughs tapped against the house, and it was so thickset with blossoms that hardly a leaf was to be seen. On both sides of the house was a big orchard, one of apple trees and one of cherry trees, also showered over with blossomes; and their grass was all sprinkled with dandelions.
屋外有一棵很大的櫻桃樹, 離房子很近，主幹貼著房子, 花叢繁茂，幾乎不見綠葉。房子兩邊都有果園，其中一棵蘋果樹和一顆櫻花樹繁花傾瀉（一個蘋果園和一個櫻桃園，滿園繁花傾瀉）；蒲公英星星點點地點綴著果園的草地。
